UNC vs Florida - Oct. 19, 1968: “It rained so much if you put the ball down it would float off.” The rain came down in sheets, first soaking Bill Dooley’s jacket, then his shirt and pants. The young coach’s clothing quickly succumbed to the downpour but his focus stayed sharp. He sloshed through the puddles at Kenan Stadium with purpose.
