North Carolina coach Larry Fedora says he expects running back Elijah Hood to play this week at No. 16 Miami. Fedora said Wednesday that Hood has practiced this week, has "done well and had no issues." Hood leads the Tar Heels with an average of 67.6 yards rushing. He missed last week's 34-3 loss to Virginia Tech with a concussion.
