Posted Oct 12, 2016
UNC was ranked No. 2 nationally in Baseball America's annual recruiting class rankings, announced Wednesday. Led by six members of the BA500, the No. 2 ranking is the highest for the Tar Heels since placing No. 1 overall in 2003. Only No. 1 pick Ole Miss had more top-500 prospects than Carolina, which saw all six of its ranked freshmen place among the top 208 nationally.
