OL Caleb Peterson, LB Jonathan Smith Suffer Season-Ending Injuries

UNC senior offensive guard Caleb Peterson will undergo season-ending back surgery on Friday at The Carrell Clinic in Dallas, Texas. Peterson started 42 games in his career and had made 30 consecutive starts before missing the Virginia Tech game. Freshman linebacker Jonathan Smith had successful season-ending surgery on Thursday to repair a fracture in his right foot.
