North Carolina women's basketball has been a relevant D1 force for decades under head coach Slyvia Hatchel. A year ago, things took a turn for the not-so-dominant ways of Tar Heel basketball as they fell to 14-18 and 4-12 finish in the ACC. But no one should expect them to be down for long as Hatchel reloads for a return to the ACC upper reaches.
