The depth of the Tar Heel defense

In preparation for the Virginia game, defensive coordinator Gene Chizik said that the defense has the depth to match the success that the Tar Heel offense has shown throughout the season. Chizik named a number of key players that will be the key to the team’s defensive improvement, citing four who have or will be playing big roles as the season continues. (Carolina Blue)
