U.Va.'s bad week gets worse with North Carolina's blowout at Scott Stadium
Posted Oct 22, 2016
Any notion Virginia had of upsetting No. 22 North Carolina Saturday effectively ended with 8:30 left, when Mitch Trubisky connected with Austin Proehl on a 46-yard touchdown pass. It gave the Tar Heels 21-point lead, and sped an exodus of Virginia fans from Scott Stadium. Virginia fell 35-14 three days after allegations of hazing surfaced in the program.
