Elijah Hood channels engagement, encouragement in No. 21 UNC's win over Virginia

No matter the result of Saturday’s game against Virginia, it was going to be a weekend UNC junior running back Elijah Hood would always remember. The day before the Tar Heels took the field in Charlottesville, Virginia, he proposed to his girlfriend, Shelby Valeriano. If that was not enough cause for celebration, Saturday also marked his fiancee’s birthday.
