Davis Love III was busy last week, clearing roads and driveways on Georgia’s St. Simons Island, where tour pros and locals refer to one of the newest members of the World Golf Hall of Fame as “Uncle Davis.” As the victorious Ryder Cup captain told me while cooking brisket in a smoker for weekend guests at his farm, “they call me to get something they can’t get out of a phone book.” (Golf Digest)
