With Davis hired, these are the 'good old days'

The hiring of Butch Davis has electrified many Carolina fans. There will be those who assert that UNC fans will never change. They'll be lukewarm for football and red hot for hoops. And for a while, that may be true, but not nearly as much as it was a month ago. After nine years of being beaten down by poor teams, school officials have taken charge and made a big-time commitment to football.
