Danny Green heads to D-League for rehab stint as he nears return


has missed several weeks to start the season with a quad strain, but it looks like the Spurs two-guard may finally be close to getting back on the court. The Spurs announced Sunday that Green has been assigned to the D-League Austin Spurs for rehabilitation play. He'll likely practice there while the Spurs travel before returning to the lineup.
