Countdown to Kickoff #36: North Carolina

North Carolina goes into head coach Butch Davis' second-year coming off a 4-8 season in 2007. The Tar Heels were extremely young across the board last year, particularly on defense. The Tar Heels still have some gaps to fill and need added depth in some others to make the leap from four wins to the projected #36 regular-season finish in 2008. However, this program is clearly going the right direction. (Tri-Cities Sports)
