Davis accepts UNC football job

North Carolina football fans can finally call it a "done deal." Butch Davis, the former University of Miami and Cleveland Browns coach, will be announced as the replacement for John Bunting this afternoon, according to sources close to the program. UNC is expected to verify that Davis will replace Bunting after the 2006 season about 4 p.m. today, the sources said.
