Joel Berry II scored 18 points to help sixth-ranked North Carolina beat Chattanooga 97-57 on Sunday. Kennedy Meeks added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Tar Heels, who have won 15 straight home openers. UNC shot 56 percent through the first 24 minutes in building a lopsided lead, pushing ahead for good with a 21-5 run late in the first half.
