Big win, bad news for UNC
Posted Nov 12, 2006
The scoreboard showed a 39-point victory for the North Carolina men's basketball team. But the Tar Heels weren't happy when they left the Smith Center on Saturday night after defeating Division II Pfeiffer 140-101 in their final exhibition game. "We won by 40," sophomore point guard Bobby Frasor said, "but still I have a feeling in my stomach that we lost." The feeling in Frasor's stomach might be even worse today, when No. 2 UNC returns to practice in preparation for its season opener Tuesday against Sacred Heart.
