Georgia Tech downs UNC 7-0
Posted Nov 12, 2006
Georgia Tech clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game yesterday behind the hard running of tailback Tashard Choice and at least a little help from North Carolina and quarterback Joe Dailey. The Yellow Jackets won 7-0 in front of 41,000 at Kenan Stadium, scoring on the longest drive - by number of plays and elapsed time - in the conference this season. The Tar Heels threatened twice to score touchdowns, but Dailey was intercepted in the end zone both times.
