Receiver Hakeem Nicks had an outstanding game on the offensive side of the ball last week at Notre Dame - and he's only a freshman. Another freshman turning in a solid performance on the opposite side was cornerback Jermaine Strong. Strong is a 5-10, 185-pound red-shirt freshman from Crest High in Shelby.
