Tar Heels Make Life-Saving Contribution

Three members of the North Carolina football team – Tommy Bancroft, Kyle Murphy and Nick Weiler – helped to save the lives of cancer patients by donating platelets Monday at the UNC Blood Donation Center. The Tar Heels were impressed with how easy and enjoyable the donation process was. “It’s been an awesome experience,” Weiler said.
