Isaiah Hicks scored 16 points and No. 5 North Carolina pulled away from Hawaii for an 83-68 victory Friday night. The Tar Heels never trailed and had five players score in double figures. Hicks scored 10 points after halftime and shot 7 of 8 from the field. Kennedy Meeks and Nate Britt had 13 points apiece. UNC led by as many as 18 in the closing minutes.
