Butch on board? Reports conflict

Reports circulated Wednesday that North Carolina and Butch Davis had reached an agreement for Davis to be the school's next football coach. But Davis' agent, Marvin Demoff, told The Charlotte Observer that his client had not struck a deal with UNC and that it likely would be next week before anything is "really going to happen."
