Bringing the passion, from the start of the game until when it came time after the game to painfully explain what had transpired, was Ryan Switzer. He and fellow senior wide receiver Bug Howard made some big plays, including each catching touchdown passes. But they weren’t enough against a potent N.C. State running game, led by Matt Dayes.
