Hakeem Nicks didn’t need a single practice or game to stand out at North Carolina. He made an immediate impression when, during a routine meet-and-greet session, he told his incoming freshman teammates that he had never lost a high school football game. The receiver from Charlotte has been bedazzling the Tar Heels and their fans ever since. (New Bern Sun Journal)
