UNC's Edwards anxious to get back on the field
Posted Nov 8, 2006
Tommy Thigpen had a plan for Larry Edwards when Edwards returned to football practice Monday. But North Carolina's linebackers coach never got a chance to implement it. "I was going to ease him into it, but I looked out there and he had thrown himself out with the first team," Thigpen said. "I was going to ease him out there, and the next thing I know he's already out there. They called the ones out, and he sprinted out there on the field."
