No. 1 Women's Soccer Opens NCAA Play Friday Against UNC Asheville


In what was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the North Carolina women's soccer team, Coach 's Tar Heels received the No. 1 overall seed for the 2006 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament as announced Monday by the NCAA Women's Soccer Committee. The Tar Heels will host first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament at UNC's Fetzer Field Friday and Sunday. (Tar Heel Blue)
