Brandon Huffman commits to UNC

Baseball standout has made an oral commitment to play for the University of North Carolina. Huffman, who will be a junior at South View this fall, made his decision after making an official visit to the Tar Heel campus on Friday. “I’ve always wanted to go there,’’ Huffman said. “It’s just their history and everything, and they’ve been to the College World Series three times in a row. They’ve got a good program.’’ (Fayetteville Observer)
