Trae Young's father, Ray Young, explained why they decided to hold off on a commitment. "Why rush? We’ve seen what can happen at Kentucky if the guy in front of you doesn’t leave. If Devonte’ Graham (at Kansas) leaves, that’s two guard positions that are open. We live in Norman, Oklahoma. So we want to watch and see what life is like without Buddy Hield. That’s why he hasn’t committed.”
