Tennessee basketball ‘almost ready’ for statement game at North Carolina

Tennessee basketball has a chance to put itself back on the map Sunday afternoon at North Carolina. The Vols (4-3) are coming off a 90-50 victory over Presbyterian (S.C.) on Tuesday, but they’ll be a prohibitive underdog to the No. 5-ranked Tar Heels (9-1) at 5 p.m. at the Dean Smith Center (TV: ESPN).
