Kansas' Carlton Bragg charged with misdemeanor battery

Kansas sophomore basketball player Carlton Bragg Jr. was charged with misdemeanor battery Friday after he was alleged to have struck his girlfriend and pushed her down stairs during an argument. Bragg, 20, was held without bond until his first court appearance Friday afternoon in Douglas County District Court. Bond was set at $500, Bragg pleaded not guilty.
