Keys to the game

So much for UNC kicker Connor Barth's perfect season. After entering the game a clean 14-for-14 on extra points, the junior had two blocked Saturday. "Talked with Connor about that on the field a little bit,'' coach John Bunting said. "I think they were low kicks. But also, we knew that they would bring great pressure. Tremendous effort by those Notre Dame defenders." He remains 6-for-6 on field goals.
