Jeremiah Gemmel receives regional Defensive Player of the Year honors

Jeremiah Gemmel, the four-year starter for East Coweta, closed out his high school career with some amazing stats in 2016, including 101 tackles, 13 for a loss and four sacks. He also finished with six blocked kicks. For his effort, Gemmell, who has verbally committed to play college football at the University of North Carolina, shares Region 2-AAAAAAA Defensive Player of the Year honors.
