Freshman Hakeem Nicks set a receiving record. Sophomore Brandon Tate returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Junior quarterback Joe Dailey passed for three touchdowns -- and zero interceptions. As North Carolina works to lure someone to replace football coach John Bunting at the end of the season, perhaps it should send potential candidates a replay of the Tar Heels' 45-26 loss Saturday at No. 11 Notre Dame.
