The benefit of bowl month for program development

The extra practices are huge for the development of players and planning for next season. It's all about the reps, learning the system, and perfecting aspects of the game. It is a chance for the staff to evaluate younger players who will play a big role next season. As UNC head coach Larry Fedora called it, they try to "steal reps for spring practice." (Carolina Blue)
