Spurs appreciate the underappreciated Danny Green

Danny Green is one of four players in Spurs history to post at least 400 steals and 300 blocks. The others: Tim Duncan, David Robinson and George Gervin. His defensive prowess is the main reason coach Gregg Popovich stuck with Green through a shooting slump last season. Green’s shooting has rebounded this season with a career-high 44 percent from 3-point range.
