North Carolina finishes what might be considered a rather underachieving football season today in the Sun Bowl against No. 16 Stanford. “I think this team still has something to prove,” Tar Heels defensive tackle Nazair Jones said. UNC coach Larry Fedora said it’s too early dismiss this season’s team even though the Tar Heels fell short of many goals. (Burlington Times News)
