Ex-Barron lacrosse star makes national champion UNC roster

Sometimes it helps to have a plan, and Michael Nathan had one all along. The Naples native dreamed of playing Division 1 lacrosse for a top-tier program, and this past summer he tried out for 2016 men's national champion Tar Heels as a walk-on. Nathan made the team, becoming the first Southwest Florida boy's lacrosse star to play for a traditional college power. (Naples News)
