It wasn’t the season that UNC expected, and Larry Fedora knows it. A Sun Bowl trip wasn’t the goal. A two-point loss to Stanford in the final minute certainly wasn’t the desired ending. But that’s what happened in the Tar Heels’ 25-23 loss to the Cardinal in El Paso. Over the coming days, UNC will be waiting on quarterback Mitch Trubisky’s NFL decision.
