UNC's Barbour makes immediate impact in new role

Its depth at tight end erased by injury, the North Carolina football team turned to a secret weapon against Wake Forest on Saturday. And Andre Barbour made major contributions in the first start of his career, proving that a 6-6, 298-pound man indeed can fly under the radar. Barbour, a redshirt freshman listed as a backup offensive tackle, caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Joe Dailey and gave his team strong blocking on the perimeter.
