Darian Durant Traded to Montreal Alouettes


The bottom line ruled when it came to the Saskatchewan Roughriders trading ’s rights to the Montreal Alouettes on Friday. The trade ended nearly 2½ months of negotiations between the Riders and Durant regarding a contract extension. Durant, 34, is still eligible to file for free agency on Feb. 14 if he doesn’t sign with the Alouettes. (Regina Leader-Post)
