Crystal Dunn, the 24-year-old U.S. women’s national team soccer star, has heard those instructions almost her entire life, first on youth soccer fields in New Hyde Park, N.Y., then at the University of North Carolina and most recently from coaches with the Washington Spirit and U.S. national team.
