Familiar Story: Tar Heels bitten by turnover bug again
Posted Oct 29, 2006
North Carolina made three critical mistakes yesterday, two on costly turnovers, that led to a loss to Wake Forest at Kenan Stadium and the continuation of its losing streak. The last turnover, an interception of quarterback Joe Dailey, took place in the Wake Forest end zone with about 15 seconds left and thwarted a last-ditch rally.
