Keys to the game
Posted Oct 28, 2006
For the Tar Heels to have any chance of turning the John Bunting situation into a positive, they need running back Ronnie McGill to have a big game. The Deacs rank seventh in the ACC -- 27th in the country -- in run defense, allowing 105.6 yards per game. With Barrington Edwards suspended for this game, McGill won't have to share the ball with anyone. McGill has only one 100-yard game this season (114 against Furman).
