Williams stands behind Bunting

Roy Williams has been a staunch supporter of Bunting and the football program since returning to Chapel Hill to replace Matt Doherty in 2003. He believes that a school with an elite basketball program such as North Carolina can also produce a winning football team. "It's happened here before," Williams said Sunday before learning of Bunting’s dismissal. (Fayetteville Observer)
