Virginia Tech almost never got a second shot and North Carolina actually got more offensive rebounds, 19, than Tech got defensive rebounds, 18. This led to a huge disparity in shots, 73 to 51. But so-so defense, and the uncertainty surrounding Theo Pinson's ankle injury cast something of a cloud over a 91-72 victory that sent fans home in good spirits. (WRAL Sports Fan)
