North Carolina has added a kicker to its 2017 football recruiting class. Before concluding his official visit, Noah Ruggles verbally committed to the Tar Heels. A couple of days prior to arriving in Chapel Hill for his official visit, UNC offered Ruggles, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound kicker from Lutz (Fla.) Steinbrenner. Vanderbilt had also offered. He officially visited Nashville last weekend.
