5. North Carolina – B+: Keeping the top talent in North Carolina from leaving the state has been a goal for Larry Fedora, and his staff deserves credit for capitalizing this cycle. Offensive lineman Jonah Melton (Mebane), defensive end Jake Lawler (Charlotte) and defensive tackle Xach Gill (Wake Forest) were all high-profile recruits who stayed in-state to play for the Tar Heels.
