UNC Men's Lacrosse Begins NCAA Title Defense Saturday Versus UMBC

The UNC men’s lacrosse team, under ninth-year head coach Joe Breschi, opens its 2017 regular season Saturday at 3 p.m. ET against the UMBC Retrievers at Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels will be taking the field in a game that counts for the first time since May when UNC beat Maryland 14-13 in overtime in the 2016 NCAA Tournament championship game.
