To become 'fan favorite' at UNC, Leaky Black sacrifices game, family to play at Florida power

A year ago, when he was a sophomore at Concord High, Leaky Black accepted a college basketball scholarship offer from North Carolina coach Roy Williams. “It was like a dream come true,” Black said. To better prepare for what he hopes is a starring role UNC, Black, a 6-foot-7 point guard, chose to leave Concord to enroll at Montverde Academy outside Orlando.
