Marie McCool Leads UNC Women's Lacrosse Past JMU, 16-14

Marie McCool tied her career high with six goals and set a career high with eight points to lead the top-ranked North Carolina women’s lacrosse team to a 16-14 victory over James Madison on Saturday afternoon. The Tar Heels scored eight consecutive goals to turn an 8-5 deficit into a 13-8 lead. North Carolina, the 2016 NCAA champion, starts the season 1-0.
