UNC’s Marie McCool Named ACC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

The UNC women’s lacrosse team opened its season on a high note this past Saturday, edging out James Madison 16-14. Midfielder Marie McCool led the way for the Tar Heels, scoring a career-high six goals–including the game-winner. McCool was rewarded for her phenomenal effort on Tuesday when the ACC selected her as its Offensive Player of the Week. (Chapelboro.com)
