Bunting defends progress of UNC program
Posted Oct 24, 2006
The decision could be a costly one for the school. Bunting remains under contract through the 2009 season at $286,200 year season. If Bunting takes another job in that period for less money, North Carolina will pay him the difference. Five of Bunting’s assistants are signed through the 2007 or 2008 seasons. Under the terms of their deals, they would be paid by the university until they find other jobs.
